Volunteers

Special Equestrians’ volunteer team is the backbone of our organization. We could not provide services to our students without the dedicated assistance of our volunteers.

We accept volunteers at age 16 who are safe around horses and able to complete tasks independently. There are many areas in which to volunteer, such as participating during lessons as a horse handler, side walker or leader, providing horse care and grounds maintenance, and assisting with special events and fundraising.

Whether your interest lies in the healing power of the horses, the experience of helping others, or the desire to serve, our barn is our HAPPY PLACE!
Come on out to the barn!
