Maggie has been a high school U.S. History teacher for the past 30 years. Her love of teaching, learning, and horses lead her to pursue her PATH Intl. CTRI title as she was getting closer to retirement - trading in the classroom for the riding arena. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in History from Caldwell College, a Master’s degree in Education from NOVA Southeastern University and National Board Certification. Her favorite part about working in therapeutic riding is the connection students make with their equine partners and the interactions with fellow instructors, volunteers, and most importantly students.
