Chrissy has been living in Vero Beach seasonally for the past 15 years and has been volunteering with SETC for 5 years. After a long career in the competitive hunter/jumper world working as a trainer and manager, she has switched gears into therapeutic riding. She finds it immensely rewarding, so much so that she’s returned to school for a masters degree in social work in hopes of offering equine assisted therapy for mental healthcare. Certifying as a PATH Intl. CTRI in 2020, Chrissy attributes her career change to the incredible program offered by Special Equestrians and continues to be inspired by their unparalleled work.
