Diane Egan Parentela
President
Diane was born and raised in Vero Beach and has been teaching at Osceola Magnet School since 1989. She loves giving back to the community she is so proud to be a product of. She became aware of the SETC program several years ago when one of her students was a rider.
Sherri Watkins
Treasurer
Sherri has lived on the Treasure Coast since 1967. She has a BASc in Accounting and has worked in citrus for almost 30 years. She is excited to support SETC and continue to contribute to the community through a shared vision of helping others.

Sandi Creyaufmiller
Director
Sandi has lived in Ft. Pierce for 9 years. Currently she is the VP Human Resources Director for Marine Bank & Trust in Vero Beach.
Christine Kelly-Begazo
Secretary
Christine has been the director for UF IFAS Indian River County extension for over 17 years and coordinates educational programs in agriculture, urban horticulture, youth development and 4H. She has an MS in Agronomy from UF and specializes in small-scale farm sustainability and pasture management. She was a Peace Corps volunteer in Honduras and continues to serve utilizing her skills with various community projects.

PATH Intl Riding Instructor

Karen was born and raised in Michigan and moved to Vero Beach in 1991. Her interest and love of everything Equine started at an early age and continues today. After raising three sons, Karen found Special Equestrians and volunteered for 2 years. Becoming a PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor was a natural progression. Her energy and love of children and horses evident, Karen now serves Special Equestrians of the Treasure Coast as Executive Director.
